Prof. Gabriele Fischer

Prof. Gabriele Fischer did her residency in psychiatry at Washington University, USA and at the Medical University Vienna, where she serves at head of the Addiction clinic. During her long research career she published > 150 scientific papers with > 400 presentations on different topics related to psychopharmacology. For many decades she works as a consultant for UNODC, WHO and other international organizations, in addition to her duty as member of the scientific board of EMCDDA (European monitoring center for drug & drug addiction); next to research studies in neuropsychopharmacology, her special science topics include human rights issues & gender related aspects.
